Missionary Cenacle Intentions: We dedicate Fridays to the Mystery of the Passion and Death of the Lord. Today we pray:
For a greater devotion to the mystery of the suffering, death, and resurrection of Jesus, we pray.
For our benefactors, living and dead, we pray.
For the end to discrimination of all kinds, we pray.
For the members of the Missionary Cenacle Apostolate of Jesus in the Desert (Candidate Cenacle), Coachella, CA, we pray.
For the members of the Missionary Cenacle, especially Sr. Jane O'Connor, MSBT; Br. Joseph Dudek, ST; Fr. Francisco Núñez, ST we pray.
For the deceased members of the Missionary Cenacle, especially Sr. Mary Joseph Jankowski, MSBT, 1968; Rita Jean Reilly, BTMI, 2010; Robert Carleo, MCA, 2021, we pray.
Reading: God has manifested His Will to us, His holy purpose, clearly, plainly and positively. There are certain things He tells us we must do and certain things we must not do. We surely want to do the Will of God. That is certain, that is positive. We have the commandments. The very first word of our Saviour in His public life‑scarcely had the stillness of the desert been broken, when Jesus came announcing that now it behooved us to be obedient to the law. (MCM, p. 255)
