Missionary Cenacle Intentions: We dedicate Wednesdays to St. Joseph and St. Vincent de Paul. Today we pray:
That we deepen our understanding and love of Father Judge and our Vincentian heritage, we pray.
That the Holy Spirit may gift zealous women and men with vocations to the Missionary Cenacle, we pray.
That we show our gratitude for material blessings by frugality and care, we pray.
For the members of the Missionary Cenacle Apostolate of Los Agradecidos del Señor, Canóvanas, Puerto Rico, we pray.
For the members of the Missionary Cenacle, especially our sick, we pray.
For the deceased members of the Missionary Cenacle, especially Sr. Martha Brown, MSBT, 1947; Sr. Nazarene McCarthy, MSBT, 1948; Catherine Johnson, MCA, 2003; Virginia Eckestein, MCA, 2007; Sr. Mary Agnes Nagle, MSBT, 2024, we pray.
Reading: This Christmas Eve, as every other Christmas Eve, will see the nations hurrying to the cave of Bethlehem to behold the great thing - a Saviour born to us. We cannot think of it without hearing the angelic choirs and chorusing back: "Glory to God in the highest, and peace on earth among men of good will."(Lk. 2:14) We cannot speak of it without jostling the Bethlehem shepherds that we, too, may have our turn to praise and adore.
