Missionary Cenacle Intentions: We dedicate Tuesdays to the Mystery of the Incarnation. Today we pray:
In thanksgiving for the mystery of the Incarnation, we pray.
That we may grow in a devotional knowledge of Jesus Christ, we pray.
That children be kept safe from violence and all harm, we pray.
For all those who once served as members of the Cenacle family, that the Lord watch over them in this life and finally grant them eternal rest, we pray.
For the members of the Missionary Cenacle Apostolate of San Blas, Coamo, Puerto Rico, we pray.
For the members of the Missionary Cenacle, especially our sick, we pray.
For the deceased members of the Missionary Cenacle, especially Sr. Veronica Sinclair, MSBT, 1958; Sr. Ann Bernard Austin, MSBT, 1965; Sr. Mary de Paul Duffy, MSBT, 2001, we pray.
Reading: This coming year I am placing all of you in a very special way under the care of Saint Joseph. Do meditate upon what a touchingly lovely, gracious, and appealing saint he is. You know much of him, in fact all the Scriptures say of him, but it will take many lifetimes to comprehend the meaning of that one word, "a just man." (Mt. 1:19) He was, on earth, after Mary Immaculate, the closest to Jesus; after the Virgin Mother, he is now the greatest, the highest, most powerful Saint in heaven. (MCM, p. 32)
