That we deepen our understanding and love of Father Judge and our Vincentian heritage, we pray.
That the Holy Spirit may gift zealous women and men with vocations to the Missionary Cenacle, we pray.
That we show our gratitude for material blessings by frugality and care, we pray.
For the members of the Missionary Cenacle Apostolate of Santísima Trinidad, Chimalhuacán, Mexico, we pray.
For the members of the Missionary Cenacle, especially Sr. Christine Wiltrakis, MSBT we pray.
For the deceased members of the Missionary Cenacle, especially Sr. Francis Xavier Seitz, MSBT, 1969; María E. Zarco Bautista, MCA, 2004; Fr. Colman Nolan, ST, 2016, we pray.
Reading: Some have been excused from the Lenten rigor of fast and abstinence, but to these, in fact to all we call attention to the great value of interior mortification. Interior mortification is a very high and very meritorious degree of penance. In fact, unless there be mortification of the spirit we will do angry violence against our body in vain. (MCM, p. 107)
