For the grace to grow in our generosity of service in proclaiming Jesus as Lord, we pray.
For the materially poor and for growth in our generosity in responding to their needs, we pray.
For the grace of a deeper trust in God's goodness and mercy, we pray.
For all those who once served as members of the Cenacle family, that the Lord watch over them in this life and finally grant them eternal rest.
For the members of the Missionary Cenacle Apostolate of Santa María de la Asunción, Elizabeth, NJ, we pray.
For the members of the Missionary Cenacle, especially our sick, we pray.
For the deceased members of the Missionary Cenacle, especially Fr. Joachim Benson, ST, 1981; Fr. Jerome Hovanec, ST, 1983; Kathryn Pugliese, MCA, 1995, we pray.
Reading: First of all, we need more recollection of spirit. This means to be more interior, less a slave to external distractions, yielding our minds and impulses to the graces and inspirations of the Holy Spirit; placing ourselves often in the presence of God; seeking union with Him; giving ourselves over to mental exercises and heart affections of love and desire for the coming of our Lord; making acts of reparation, atonement and frequent spiritual communions Renew yourselves in all your promises and in your first and most ardent Cenacle fervor (MCM, p. 162)
