Readings: Acts 9:1-20 / Jn 6:52-59
Missionary Cenacle Intentions: We dedicate Fridays to the Mystery of the Passion and Death of the Lord. Today we pray:
That the suffering and death of Jesus inspire us to alleviate the suffering of others, we pray.
That our collaborators in mission may enter into and live our Cenacle spirit, we pray.
That the hearts of those considered enemies may be softened and our own hearts softened toward them, we pray.
For the members of the Missionary Cenacle Apostolate of Divina Providencia (Prayer Cenacle), San Juan, Puerto Rico, we pray.
For the members of the Missionary Cenacle, especially Fr. Robert Goodyear, ST we pray.
For the deceased members of the Missionary Cenacle, especially Sr. Jeannette Decker, MSBT, 1940; Sr. Francis Henry Schenk, MSBT, 2010, we pray.
Reading: How much the Precious Blood tells us of the nature of God. How terribly adorable is His exacting justice, how transcending is His sanctity, how terrible is His majesty since it has pleased Him to choose the Precious Blood as the only fit ransom for the sins of the human race, the only satisfaction to the outraged majesty of an Infinite Being.
