Reading: St. Paul, too, made glorious amends for his faults. How ardently did he serve and love God! There were no bounds to his sacrifice for the love of Jesus. He too became the saint of great repentance. His pride was wounded to death under the chastising hand of God. The first cry of his heart was, "Lord, what wilt thou have me to do?" (Acts 9:6) (MCM, p. 137)
