Missionary Cenacle Intentions: We dedicate Tuesdays to the Mystery of the Incarnation. Today we pray:
For the grace to spread a knowledge and love of the mystery of the Incarnation, we pray.
That the unemployed and under-employed find work that gives meaning and dignity to their lives, we pray.
For those who teach, serve as catechists, or are in academic apostolates, we pray.
For the members of the Missionary Cenacle Apostolate of Divina Misericordia, Santo Domingo de Heredia, Costa Rica, we pray.
For the members of the Missionary Cenacle, especially Fr. Gary Banks, ST we pray.
For the deceased members of the Missionary Cenacle, especially Sr. Maria Dolorosa Ochs, MSBT, 1968; Sr. Frances Therese Hampshire, MSBT, 1982; Sr. Anne Marie Minken, MSBT, 1994, we pray.
Reading: To our senses, after the Consecration nothing is apparent to us except the species of bread and wine, yet we firmly believe that under this is hidden the true Body and Blood of our Lord. This is the scope of our belief and when in peaceful moments of meditation we reflect seriously on its import and realize its significance, the result is overpowering. Think what love is embodied in this Sacrament! (MCM, p. 168)
