Missionary Cenacle Intentions: We dedicate Tuesdays to the Mystery of the Incarnation. Today we pray:
For the grace to spread a knowledge and love of the mystery of the Incarnation, we pray.
That the unemployed and under-employed find work that gives meaning and dignity to their lives, we pray.
For those who teach, serve as catechists, or are in academic apostolates, we pray.
For the members of the Missionary Cenacle Apostolate of Sagrada Familia, New York, NY, we pray.
For the members of the Missionary Cenacle, especially Sr. Christine Ma, MSBT we pray.
For the deceased members of the Missionary Cenacle, especially Sr. Florence Marie Burke, MSBT, 1980, we pray.
Reading: Exercise yourself in humble prayer to obtain perfection in this practice. The meditative study and saying of the Apostles Creed will help much. Strive to do all things with purity of intention. Remember, it is the intention which gives glory to the work. No work glorifies itself. Whatever you do is to be a gift to the King. Let it, therefore, be a perfect gift. The gift is perfected by throwing yourself generously into the work with purity of intention-that God's Name be hallowed, that His kingdom come, that His holy Will be done. (MCM, p. 276)
