Missionary Cenacle Intentions: We dedicate Fridays to the Mystery of the Passion and Death of the Lord. Today we pray:
That the sufferings of Jesus may be a source of strength to all who are ill, we pray.
That our experiences make us sensitive to the sufferings of others, we pray.
That weekend travelers arrive at their destinations safely and return safe, rested, and renewed, we pray.
For the members of the Missionary Cenacle Apostolate of Misioneros Corintios (Youth Cenacle), Puerto Jiménez, Costa Rica, we pray.
For the members of the Missionary Cenacle, especially our sick, we pray.
For the deceased members of the Missionary Cenacle, especially Fr. Julian Legere, ST, 1990, we pray.
Reading: We should go at this thing in a whole-hearted way. The religious life, understand, is only a matter of obeying the will of God for the love of Jesus Christ. Just follow Him around those Stations. We see Him demonstrating obedience. He was obedient for my sake. Now I will obey for His sake. That is the inspiration, that is the motive of religious obedience. (MCM, p. 297)
