2026-11-05

Readings: Phil 3:3-8a / Lk 15:1-10

Missionary Cenacle Intentions: We dedicate Thursdays to the Mystery of the Eucharist. Today we pray:

That devotion to the Eucharist grow and be a beacon of Faith, we pray.

That we may always have a spirit of thanksgiving, we pray.

That the Family Spirit in the Cenacle be a witness to all who know us, we pray.

For the members of the Missionary Cenacle Apostolate of Holy Trinity by the Sea, Myrtle Beach, SC, we pray.

For the members of the Missionary Cenacle, especially Fr. César Muñoz ST we pray.

For the deceased members of the Missionary Cenacle, especially Frank Krasnansky, MCA, 1991; Sr. Catherine Thomas McManus, MSBT, 1993; Isabelle McNally, MCA, 1995, we pray.

Reading: We can become "officials." We can do things in a perfunctory way. We can do things through routine. We can become in the house of God a mere clerk. In other words we can do things without zeal. Our Lord had zeal, the Apostles had zeal. Anything connected with the apostolic age is of zeal. It is an ardent charity; it is just that desire to give and give and give oneself to God and to God's work. (MCM, p. 308)
