Readings: Rv 1:1-4;2:1-5 / Lk 18:35-43
Missionary Cenacle Intentions: We dedicate Mondays to the Mystery of the Holy Spirit. Today we pray:
That we may grow in our knowledge and love of the Holy Spirit, we pray.
That people suffering from addictions receive the grace of God and the help of others to gain freedom and serenity, we pray.
That zeal, the white heat of charity, may flourish in the Church, especially in our hearts, we pray.
For the members of the Missionary Cenacle Apostolate of Spirit of Peace, Selma, AL, we pray.
For the members of the Missionary Cenacle, especially our sick, we pray.
For the deceased members of the Missionary Cenacle, especially Sr. Elizabeth Anne Vieira, MSBT, 2005, we pray.
Reading: We have no "Who's Who" in the religious life except the favorites that Christ Himself mentioned: "The last shall be first." (Mt. 19:30) Don't worry about being forgotten, and not appreciated - If you want to be appreciated, be a comfort, be a consolation to others, seek to be unknown. (MCM, p. 317)
