Readings: Ex 1:8‑14,22 / Mt 10:34‑11:1

Missionary Cenacle Intentions: We dedicate Mondays to the Mystery of the Holy Spirit. Today we pray:

That the Holy Spirit instill in us a spirit of thanksgiving for all of creation, we pray.

That the gift of the priesthood of all the baptized and the ordained priesthood be better appreciated and cherished by all the faithful, we pray.

That family strife be resolved by true love for spouses and children, we pray.

For the members of the Missionary Cenacle Apostolate of Divina Providencia (Prayer Cenacle), San Juan, Puerto Rico, we pray.

For the members of the Missionary Cenacle, especially our sick, we pray.

For the deceased members of the Missionary Cenacle, especially Sr. Mary Loretto Fox, MSBT, 1978; Sr. Catherine Foley, MSBT, 1994; Sr. Grace Angelica Padberg, MSBT, 2009; Mary Elizabeth (Liz) Sweeney, MCA, 2010, we pray.

Reading: Charity is our great virtue because it is the great virtue of Jesus. "This is my commandment, that you love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love than this no man hath, that a man lay down his life for his friends." (Jn. 15: 12‑13) These are the words of our blessed Saviour. God in His mercy has given us the grace to practice this beautiful virtue of Jesus in our Cenacles; from the beginning the Holy Spirit has caused it to flourish. (MCM, p. 209)
