Readings: Ex 11:10-12:14 / Mt 12:1‑8

Missionary Cenacle Intentions: We dedicate Fridays to the Mystery of the Passion and Death of the Lord. Today we pray:

That the suffering and death of Jesus inspire us to alleviate the suffering of others, we pray.

That our collaborators in mission may enter into and live our Cenacle spirit, we pray.

That the hearts of those considered enemies may be softened and our own hearts softened toward them, we pray.

For the members of the Missionary Cenacle Apostolate of Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria, Mayagüez , Puerto Rico, we pray.

For the members of the Missionary Cenacle, especially our sick, we pray.

For the deceased members of the Missionary Cenacle, especially Edna Nussbaum, MCA, 1987; Sr. Helene Schinski, BTMI, 2006, Teresa G. González, MCA, 2012, we pray.

Reading: So wonderful is the Precious Blood that it is beyond wonder. It is adorable because it is the Blood of God. The gathering drop of the Precious Blood settling in the cup of the chalice after the priest's Communion is as adorable as the Triune God before Whom the angels veil their faces and with the entire celestial court chorus: "Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty." (Apoc. 4:8) (MCM, p. 213)
