2025-08-17

Readings: Jer 38:4‑6,8‑10 / Heb 12:1‑4 / Lk 12:49‑53

Missionary Cenacle Intentions: We dedicate Sundays to the Mystery of the Most Holy Trinity. Today we pray:

In thanksgiving for God's revelation of the Trinity, we pray.

For our Holy Father, our bishops, and the Custodians of the Missionary Cenacle, we pray.

That God's Mercy be manifest in our works and ministries, we pray.

For the members of the Missionary Cenacle Apostolate of Joyful Spirit, Milton, FL, we pray.

For the members of the Missionary Cenacle, especially our sick, we pray.

For the deceased members of the Missionary Cenacle, especially Sr. Bernard Marie Berndt, MSBT, 1999; Br. Jonathan Daneski, ST, 2017, we pray.

Reading: Our Lord had a purpose in giving us this Gospel. He had an idea when He spoke this to His Apostles. He had an idea when He inspired His Church to preach that Gospel to millions. Think of the power of an idea‑that of Columbus, of Pasteur! These changed the history of the world and of medicine. (MCM, p. 239)
