Readings: 1 Jn 2:22‑28 / Jn 1:19‑28
Missionary Cenacle Intentions: We dedicate Fridays to the Mystery of the Passion and Death of the Lord. Today we pray:
That the sufferings of Jesus may be a source of strength to all who are ill, we pray.
That our experiences make us sensitive to the sufferings of others, we pray.
That weekend travelers arrive at their destinations safely and return safe, rested, and renewed, we pray.
For the members of the Missionary Cenacle Apostolate of Espíritu Santo, Bloomington, CA, we pray.
For the members of the Missionary Cenacle, especially Sr. Theresa Mary Finan, MSBT we pray.
For the deceased members of the Missionary Cenacle, especially Sr. M. Cajetan Schick, MSBT, 1978; Sr. M. Patrick Swift, MSBT, 2004, we pray.
Reading: The Holy Name of Jesus, what holy thoughts, impulses and resolutions it provokes. What will we do for the Holy Name? We must do something; we must do much. This at least we can do‑love it more, use it more, bless with it more, and the more with it be blessed, make it the sweetness of our mouths, the music of our ears, the love of our hearts, the light of our minds, the strength of our wills, the joy of our souls.
