Readings: 1 Kgs 10:1‑10 / Mk 7:14‑23
Missionary Cenacle Intentions: We dedicate Wednesdays to St. Joseph and St. Vincent de Paul. Today we pray:
For a greater devotion to St. Joseph as patron of workers throughout the world, we pray.
For an increase in vocations to the Missionary Cenacle, we pray.
For a greater sensitivity to the poor and abandoned, especially refugees, we pray.
For the members of the Missionary Cenacle Apostolate of Espíritu Santo, Buenavista, Michoacán, Mexico, we pray.
For the members of the Missionary Cenacle, especially our sick, we pray.
For the deceased members of the Missionary Cenacle, especially Margaret Schino, MCA, 1979; Bertin Barbosa, MCA, 2025, we pray.
Reading: No instructed child of Holy Mother Church can plead ignorance of his eternal destiny. Each and every one of us knows that we have only one work to do in this world and that work is to become a Saint. And the way to be a Saint we know also. It is to know and love and serve God. Just as truly as effect follows cause, sanctity flows out of knowledge and love and service of God. (MCM, p. 73)
