Missionary Cenacle Intentions: We dedicate Wednesdays to St. Joseph and St. Vincent de Paul. Today we pray:

For a greater devotion to St. Joseph as patron of workers throughout the world, we pray.

For an increase in vocations to the Missionary Cenacle, we pray.

For a greater sensitivity to the poor and abandoned, especially refugees, we pray.

For the members of the Missionary Cenacle Apostolate of San Vicente de Paúl, Goicoechea, Costa Rica, we pray.

For the members of the Missionary Cenacle, especially Sr. Catherine McCarthy, MSBT; Fr. Victor M. Pérez, ST we pray.

For the deceased members of the Missionary Cenacle, especially Sr. Marie of the Holy Trinity Healy, MSBT, 1979, we pray.

Reading: Our gratitude to the Holy Spirit for the twofold grace of calling us to penance and of placing before us the divine example of our Blessed Lord doing penance for our sins should move us to manifest in ourselves "fruit worthy of penance." (Mt. 3:8) Let us change our lives, our minds and our hearts. Let us turn our affections from sin to God. (MCM, p. 97)
