Readings: Acts 14:5-18 / Jn 14:21-26
Missionary Cenacle Intentions: We dedicate Mondays to the Mystery of the Holy Spirit. Today we pray:
That we may grow in our knowledge and love of the Holy Spirit, we pray.
That people suffering from addictions receive the grace of God and the help of others to gain freedom and serenity, we pray.
That zeal, the white heat of charity, may flourish in the Church, especially in our hearts, we pray.
For the members of the Missionary Cenacle Apostolate of Espíritu Santo, Temascalapa, Mexico, we pray.
For the members of the Missionary Cenacle, especially our sick, we pray.
For the deceased members of the Missionary Cenacle, especially Sr. Kathleen Regina McNamara, MSBT, 1966; Fr. Pius Colburn, ST, 1967; Sr. Mary of the Precious Blood Buchholz, MSBT, 1976; Yola Patiño Anguiano, MCA, 2011; Fr. Louis Murphy, ST, 2023; Margaret Mary Ochsenfeld, MCA, 2025, we pray.
Reading: I pray that the graces of the Holy Spirit may not fail you nor fail any of us, and I commit to your charity the welfare of your sisters and brothers. May God grant that this Pentecost season will be for us a time of great rejoicing. May it see the Cenacle surfeited with the Gifts and Fruits of the Holy Spirit. (MCM, p. 161)
