Readings: Acts 14:19-28 / Jn 14:27-31a
Missionary Cenacle Intentions: We dedicate Tuesdays to the Mystery of the Incarnation. Today we pray:
In thanksgiving for the mystery of the Incarnation, we pray.
That we may grow in a devotional knowledge of Jesus Christ, we pray.
That children be kept safe from violence and all harm, we pray.
For all those who once served as members of the Cenacle family, that the Lord watch over them in this life and finally grant them eternal rest, we pray.
For the members of the Missionary Cenacle Apostolate of Inmaculada Concepción de María (Candidate Cenacle), Michoacán, México, we pray.
For the members of the Missionary Cenacle, especially our sick, we pray.
For the deceased members of the Missionary Cenacle, especially Sr. John Alphonsus Krieger, MSBT, 1965; Fr. Andrew Lawrence, ST, 1985; Fr. Robert Shay, ST, 2007; Nilda Ramos, MCA, 2010; Faustina Savala, MCA, 2018, we pray.
Reading: Almighty God is so familiar with us. Have more devotion to His Holy Spirit. Your first service is to the Triune God and that you can only do in your interior. This, then, is the spiritual philosophy of your religious life. You are (men and) women of interior recollection. At least you should know the distinction between the service you owe to the Holy and adorable Trinity and the one you owe to your neighbor. (MCM, p. 162)
