Missionary Cenacle Intentions: We dedicate today to honoring Mary, the mother of Jesus. Today we pray:
That Mary may truly be the Mother and Queen of the Missionary Cenacle, we pray.
That Mary may inspire a respect for all women and their rights, we pray.
That Mary, by her love, guide us always to her son Jesus, we pray.
For the members of the Missionary Cenacle Apostolate of Nuestra Señora de la Victoria, Compton, CA, we pray.
For the members of the Missionary Cenacle, especially our sick, we pray.
For the deceased members of the Missionary Cenacle, especially Linda Carlini, MCA, 1972; Sr. Mary Elizabeth McGovern, MSBT, 1999; Thelma Kelley, MCA, 2000; Jenny Bruno, MCA, 2001, we pray.
Reading: Oh! what a day it is! Apart from the birthday of her Blessed Son there never was such a day for the world. What kind of beings would we be if we did not think of it; if we did not rejoice! That day has meant more to the race than the birthdays of all the kings and queens and everybody else that ever lived. The day that she was born the race, practically, began to be saved.
