Readings: 1 Cor 10:14-22 / Lk 6:43-49
Missionary Cenacle Intentions: We dedicate Saturdays to Mary, Queen of the Missionary Cenacle. Today we pray:
For the spread of devotion to Mary, the mother of Jesus, we pray.
For the homeless, especially refugees and migrants, we pray.
For those in charge of formation in the Missionary Cenacle, we pray.
For the members of the Missionary Cenacle Apostolate of Resurrección, Compton, CA, we pray.
For the members of the Missionary Cenacle, especially Sr. Mary Matthew Labunski, MSBT; Fr. Raymond Riding, ST we pray.
For the deceased members of the Missionary Cenacle, especially Sr. Elizabeth John Keating, MSBT, 1977; Sr. Mary Ignatius Kerrigan, MSBT, 2017, we pray.
Reading: "A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can an evil tree bring forth good fruit. Wherefore by their fruits you shall know them." (Mt. 7:18-20) The fruit that you are bringing to the confessional and the Sacraments is tired and sin-stained souls, some of them many years away from God's love and grace. This is indeed the fruit of the Holy Spirit. (MCM, p. 111)
