Missionary Cenacle Intentions: We dedicate Mondays to the Mystery of the Holy Spirit. Today we pray:

For a greater devotion to the Holy Spirit, the active presence and power of God in our lives and in the world, we pray.

That God soften the hearts and enlighten the minds of those who seek to eradicate faith or bring harm to people of peace, we pray.

For the wellbeing of the women, children, and men whom we serve and those who serve with us, we pray.

For the members of the Missionary Cenacle Apostolate of Espíritu Santo, Buenavista, Michoacán, Mexico, we pray.

For the members of the Missionary Cenacle, especially our sick, we pray.

For the deceased members of the Missionary Cenacle, especially Sr. John Judith D’Allessandro, MSBT, 2010, we pray.

Reading: We know the law; we have the law. We know what it means to break these Commandments. God intended that we keep these Commandments. When He said "Thou shalt" and "Thou shalt not," He meant it. There wasn't any jesting about that. There wasn't a bit of jesting or merriment at all, and to prove to us that He meant it, He created a hell. Hell was created to give a sanction, a meaning, to the Commandments. Oh, the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. (Ps. 111:10). (MCM, p. 287)
