Readings: Eph 3:2-12 / Lk 12:39-48

Missionary Cenacle Intentions: We dedicate Wednesdays to St. Joseph and St. Vincent de Paul. Today we pray:

For a greater devotion to St. Joseph as patron of workers throughout the world, we pray.

For an increase in vocations to the Missionary Cenacle, we pray.

For a greater sensitivity to the poor and abandoned, especially refugees, we pray.

For the members of the Missionary Cenacle Apostolate of Divina Misericordia, Santo Domingo de Heredia, Costa Rica, we pray.

For the members of the Missionary Cenacle, especially Sr. Siena Marie Wahl, MSBT we pray.

For the deceased members of the Missionary Cenacle, especially Sr. Mary Carmel Davoren, MSBT, 1964; Mary Sweeney, MCA, 1999; Fr. Shaun McCarty, ST, 2007, we pray.

Reading: We have two safe rules of action, only two. The first is faith, and the second is reason-a reason that is illuminated by faith. In no circumstance of our life should we ever act outside of reason or faith; faith and reason should square and plumb everything we do. Just as true as God is in His heaven, everything we do will be flooded with God's blessing and with merit everlasting. (MCM, p. 295)
