For the end to discrimination of all kinds, we pray.

For the members of the Missionary Cenacle Apostolate of Faith on Fire, NC, we pray.

For the members of the Missionary Cenacle, especially our sick, we pray.

For the deceased members of the Missionary Cenacle, especially Loretta R. Aleck, BTMI, 1974; Eleanor Broughton, MCA, 1996; Sr. Beatrice Giovannetti, MSBT, 2000, we pray.

Reading: He is our Elder brother, our Man of Sorrows who has suffered with every suffering child of Adam. He cherished each and every one with divine solicitude. ingrates would we be if we did not thank and love Him (especially) for that ineffable prayer of compassion for us to His heavenly Father: "I pray not that thou shouldst take them out of the world, but that thou shouldst keep them from evil.” (Jn. 17:15) (And) to pour balm into humanity's wounded heart, He shows us poor, weak mortals our only refuge. To save us from the deluge of misery, He teaches and urges us to pray: "Our Father. deliver us from evil.” (Mt. 6:13) (MCM, p. 59)
